Claire is so tolerant of my antics...I dress her up all of the time and this weekend I decided to put a bow on her bald head. To answer your questions, NO--I did not have to tape or velcro it on! She has a thin layer of hair on top & I was able to clip it in and it stayed on all day!
We have started teaching Claire sign language. We are working on the words 'eat' 'drink' 'milk' 'more' 'love' and 'thank you.' So far she just stares at us and smiles, but I think she'll figure it out before too long.
This weekend we introduced some new 'big girl' foods to Claire. She had her first yo yo baby yogurt (she loves it) and she nibbled on some organic teething biscuits. She was an absolute mess after the biscuit, but she enjoyed it! We also think she is getting pretty close to walking. She is now able to stand on her own.
