Claire's first visit with the Easter Bunny

My mom is in town & we took Claire over to Novi to see the Easter Bunny yesterday. As you can see from the picture, she really enjoyed it!

While Rick & Kathy are on vacation, my mom is staying with us & helping Claire. We have just had the best time & I will be so sad when she has to go home.

I've not been doing the best at keeping this updated the past few weeks, so here is a synopsis of what's been happening: Claire is as busy as ever & is doing wonderful developmentally. She is starting to learn sign language and signs 'milk' when she wants her bottle and 'all done' when she is finished with anything. She is expanding her vocabulary as well. She also says 'all done' when she signs..it is so cute! Grammy brought Annie & Molly with her for her visit, so we are now a 3 dog home. Claire is saying 'dog dog' regularly and loves Annie b/c she will let Claire pet her (pull her hair) and Annie gives Claire kisses. Claire giggles whenever she sees Annie's tongue--it is too cute! She is standing on her own and attempted to take a step forward on Wednesday. Walking is in the near future!!! She went to her first birthday party a couple of weeks ago & loved it. Her friend Maddy turned one. Claire also experienced her first swingset at the park on St. Patrick's day. I will upload pictures of these activities in the future.

Grandad & Gran are in Mexico celebrating Gran's birthday which is today--Happy Birthday Kathy! Her first birthday as a Gran :) We will do a video chat tonight with them...gotta love technology.
